Dr Ciro Gilvetti

Dr Ciro Gilvetti is a leading consultant dentist in London who has a special interest in oral surgery and oral medicine, which includes extraction of difficult teeth, placement of dental implants, bone augmentation procedures and biopsy of lesions in the oral cavity. Dr Gilvetti is knowledgeable and understanding in the diagnosis and management of infectious, premalignant and immunological oral diseases. He is also very compassionate in treating patients with dental phobia.

Dr Gilvetti qualified in Italy in 2001 and underwent five years of intensive hospital and academic postgraduate training in oral surgery and oral medicine. From 2006 to 2011 he was an honorary lecturer and research assistant in the department of oral medicine at the Eastman Dental Hospital. He currently works as Trust Specialty Dentist in oral and maxillofacial surgery with Queen Victoria Hospital.

He achieved his postgraduate qualifications in dental sedation and pain management, oral medicine, implantology, clinical education and furthermore completed his Masters in oral surgery. Dr Gilvetti uses state-of-the-art techniques and treatments in both NHS and private practice.
